亚马逊财报喜忧参半 重回万亿之路蒙阴霾

近期，亚马逊在卖家后台更新了一项全新的计划-有存货抢先起步计划。

有存货抢先起步计划目前属于试点中，是亚马逊针对FBA推出的帮助第三方卖家应对库存缺货的一种方式。

如果对发往FBA仓库货物的到仓日期有信心，In-Stock Head试点计划将对卖家缺货的产品提供可购买的状态。也就是说，当卖家的货物在发往FBA仓库的途中，买家仍旧可以查找并购买暂时缺货的产品。可以想象，亚马逊会增加一个预售的界面，提示买家货物预计将于什么时间发货配送。

With the new In-Stock Head Start pilot program, customers can find and buy your temporarily out-of-stock products when your shipment is on its way to the fulfillment center.

Even with the best inventory planning, popular products may sometimes go out of stock, and that can affect your product discoverability and sales. With this new Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) pilot, we will make your out-of-stock products available for customers to find and buy when your shipment is on its way and we are confident about its arrival date. Customers will benefit from a wider selection of products, and you could see higher or more consistent sales.

How the pilot program works

Your out-of-stock inventory will be eligible for In-Stock Head Start if you send it to the fulfillment center using Amazon Carrier Central, the Partnered Carrier program (PCP), or Amazon Global Logistics. We will use the information these programs provide to estimate the in-stock date for your products.

Note: To protect the customer experience, Amazon may not make all of your out-of-stock ASINs available for customers to find and buy before the items reach the fulfillment center.

How you could benefit

Participating in the pilot has a number of potential benefits:

Discoverability: Your out-of-stock items will appear in search results, giving customers a wider selection and helping to increase traffic to your product detail pages.
Sales: Customers can buy temporarily out-of-stock items, which can result in improved sales.
Inventory productivity: Taking customer orders while your products are temporarily out of stock can reduce the time between shipment and sale.

Note: During this pilot phase, In-Stock Head Start items will appear in Seller Central tools and reports as both Available and Inbound. Because of this, you would need to manage inventory reconciliation outside of Seller Central reporting. Your fees and Inventory Performance Index (IPI) score will not be affected.
Frequently asked questions

How can I be sure Amazon will deliver customer orders on time?
With In-Stock Head Start, if a customer places an order for an out-of-stock item, the delivery date will be based on the estimated in-stock date. If the shipment is delayed, we will adjust the in-stock date.

Can I pick which ASINs are in the pilot program?
At this time, In-Stock Head Start is enabled only at the seller level, so you will not be able to choose certain ASINs for the pilot.

Should I change my inventory replenishment cycle because of the pilot?
In-Stock Head Start is intended for items that occasionally go out of stock. The pilot is not meant to substitute for your regular inventory replenishment schedule. Staying in stock will lead to the best customer experience.

Can I opt out from the pilot?
Yes. If you have enrolled in the pilot but decide you no longer want to participate, click the Opt out from pilot button below. Shipments created 72 hours after we confirm via email that you have opted out will not be part of the pilot.

根据亚马逊的要求，必须是使用亚马逊承运人平台、合作承运人计划或者是使用亚马逊FBA计划的卖家才有资格参与。

而且亚马逊公布的该计划的申请通道目前看来只能是在亚马逊指定的网页端口进行申请，并且卖家拥有随时退出该计划的权力。（想要申请该计划的卖家可自行在后台搜索该计划，进入申请页面注册申请即可）由于该计划刚刚开放申请且是试点状态，亚马逊是否还会有其他审核条件，还未可知。
