外贸与内贸其实本质上都是一样的，就是做生意，买进卖出赚取差价。

Foreign trade and domestic trade are essentially the same in nature, that is, doing business, buying and selling to earn a difference.

不同的只是外贸把商品卖给外国人，内贸把商品卖给自己人。

评判一个生意值不值得做首先看有没有钱赚，也就是利润。

外贸的利润总体上是比内贸高的。

举一个简单的例子，在旅游景区向外国人卖纪念品就是一种简单的外贸行为。当年邓小平在视察某旅游景区就说过，景区的纪念品应该区分国人与外国游客进行差异化定价，通俗地讲就是同一样东西，卖给外国人要比卖给国人贵。仅就家具行业来说，同时拥有外贸和内贸部门的企业，利润贡献率大多能达到3：1甚至更高。

一、对企业来说，做外贸只需要设立两个部门：市场部和财务部。

一般厂家对外贸生产的工作流程是，从外商或外贸公司手里拿到订单，之后就派专人跟单，组织生产，按时交货即可。

刚刚起步时，商品技术设计方面比较薄弱的可由外商提供；产品质量方面，因为各个国家有不同的商品检查制度，比较偏门的检验检测外商会提供专业机构指引并支付相关费用，对于常见的欧美国家的检验检测都有专门机构负责，而且服务周到，外商一般还会支付一定比例的订金让企业作为生产的成本。

可是外贸在开发客户的过程中则要比内贸难度要大、开发成本要高很多，首先语言、然后开发渠道等等需要考虑。还有对不同国家不同客户对于产品的口味，各国进出口的法律法规等等都是需要我们深入研究，市场分析的难度也要比内贸大。

However, the cost of developing customers for foreign trade is much higher than domestic trade, and so is the difficulty. First of all, the language and channel should be taken into consideration. And we also need to consider customers in different countries taste and laws. The marketing analysis of foreign trade is also harder. 

一般外贸好比于批发，出货量会比较多，订单量以数量取胜，因此每张订单的利润相对于内贸来说会高。

Generally foreign trade is like wholesale which has larger quantity. So it will have higher profits.

二、内贸公司在创立时，至少要有开发、质检、财务、市场、客服5个部门。（当然专业的外贸公司同样会设置多个部门）。

Domestic trade is relatively more complicated, at least there must be five departments of development, quality inspection, finance, market and customer service.

首先厂家需要去专利局申请自己的商标和品牌，还需要投入研发搞产品设计，由于资金和经验等原因，可能发展几年才发现自己当初设立的品牌很山寨，又要重新投入去完善修改。

First of all, manufacturers need to go to the Patent Office to apply for their own trademarks and brands. They also need to invest in research and development to engage in product design. 而外贸企业由于外商的要求和规范则在一开始就把事情做对。

内贸厂家需要自己投入成本生产，然后自己负责质量检验，合格产品必须自己找销路，暂时没有卖出去的货必须支付库存成本，卖出去了运输费用、店面装修、广告投入、入场费则接踵而至。

Domestic traders need to invest in cost production, and then they are responsible for quality inspection. Qualified products must find their own sales. 后期的客户服务也是需要持续投入的，更不要提潜规则、请客吃饭等事情，没有强大的资金支持怎么可能？

内贸好比于零售，单价和单件利润可能会比外贸高，但每张单的销售金额相对于外贸来说会会少。

Domestic trade is like retail selling which has higher profit in a single piece but relatively lower amount in each order. 

其实无论做外贸或内贸都各有各的风险，只有把风险系数降低，看清前路，才能真正地把生意做好。

There is risk in both foreign trade and domestic trade. As long as we analyze clearly to lower the risks can we do well in the business.
