新年开工了,很多企业由于供应链环节以及各类不确定因素发生了变化,工厂生产产品的资源和服务成本也随之增加了,于是准备更新一波产品价格。换而言之,就是:要涨价了!


很多人就担心,成交那么多次的忠实客户,价格一直没有变过,现在却突然说涨价了,会不会流失客户?


其实大可不必担心,价格上涨是公司经营中的很正常的一部分,而且有多种方法可以在不吓跑客户的前提下提高价格,前提是要把握一些原则:


1、提前让客户知道

在涨价前,要预先给客户通知,最好提前1-2个月,并做详细的说明,留给客户充足的时间来调整他的销售价格。


2、明确提价的原因

如果客户已经购买同一种产品几个月或几年了,这使得你和外贸客户强调产品质量的重要性至关重要。

例如,随着一些原材料越来越稀缺和昂贵,为了保持产品的质量,被迫提高使用这些材料的产品的价格。


3、给报价有效期

有些材料波动大的产品,在报价的时候,要给客户一个报价有效期限。虽然,有时候这个报价期限执行的并不多,但将来有一天你调整价格了,如果客户表示不满,你可以发这个给他看,你就主动了。


另外,也最好确定整个公司都知道涨价的消息,在成本差异、理由和物流等方面保持一致的声音,避免一些不必要的麻烦。

Hi,XXX,The loss caused by exchange rate changes should not be borne by any of us, but it exists objectively and affects our cooperation, so we cannot ignore it.As you see, the exchange rate has been falling for several months, but we have never raised the price with you because you are our old customer and we hope to not disturb you as much as possible.Our peers, that is, other suppliers, have raised prices with their customers last month, and we have been waiting for the exchange rate to rising, because in this case, we will not increase the price, but unfortunately, the exchange rate is still falling.In desperation, we consulting with you. Our proposal is fair to both parties, and we hope you will consider it again.Thanks, my dear sir. Hope we can have good and long cooperation.

Dear XXX,Accurate was on the receiving end of a 17% price increase from our supplier last year. We made the decision not to increase prices for 2022 and shifted our focus to best serve the needs of our customers during these unsteady times.
We took a hard look at how we could continue so that you, our loyal consumers, would not bear the full brunt of these rising costs that have been imposed on us. The 2023 price increase of 5% for our price line, which will go into effect beginning April 15th, 2023, will allow us to minimally adjust costs caused by the continuing increase of raw materials, packaging, transportation, and labor.
We value your business and thank you for your continued support during our transition. We all have been through a lot this past year and are looking forward to your continued partnership while navigating through these unprecedented times. We believe that our use of the most advanced technologies in the market, productivity rate, and dedicated staff provide the necessary ingredients for our continued, mutual growth and success.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at (xxx) 1234-1234.All orders received and shipped prior to April 15th, 2023 will receive the current pricing.Kind regards,Your Name (Sales Manager)

Dear Purchasing Dept./Buyer,Please be advised that there will be a price increase of 8% on all our products effective April 1st, 2023. This increase will affect all orders made on and after the increase date, with no exceptions.
We are committed to continuing to offer quality products and services and are always trying to find ways to minimize the amount and frequency of these price increases. Unfortunately, this increase is based on high market demand and continued escalating cost increases for raw materials within our industry, which forces us to raise prices.
We greatly appreciate your understanding and support!
Sincerely,Your Name (Sales Manager)


 模板四 给客户的报价过了有效期,客户下单未能按照报价执行,客户投诉解决。

Dear XXX,

Thanks a lot for your email & sharing me the information.

I fully understand your situation, and know that you have quoted your customer based on the price quoted you on XXXX (date). I attach the price here for your reference. You may notice that the validity of the price is on XXXX(date).

You know, the material cost of XXXX fluctuate frequently, it has already gone up XX%. Our cost grows up even more considering also other aspects like RMB exchange rate goes up versus USD, the quick increase of the labor, transportation & energy.

Anyway, we treasure you much as a very valuable customer, and know that you have followed this customer hard, we would like to give you a most special discount of XX%. I also would very much appreciate your kind understanding: at this price, we almost have no profit, just for you to maintain the good customer relationship, and get more orders for us in the future.
